Shipping Policies
After you submit a completed order and we get approval of your specified payment option, we release your order to our warehouse or the manufacturing facility.
Orders place before 3:00 Pm. CST. Normally ship the same day
Based on the Complexity of your order or if it is just a stock item that will normally ship the same day. Orders such as switchgear or custom control packages might take a couple of working days to ship.
IER is pleased to ship directly to your customer but we do request you provide a packing slip for your protection.
IER offers free ground shipping with order of $20.00 or more IER reserves the right to select the carrier used most shipping is done by either FedEx or UPS or a common carrier selected by the shipper. Customer requesting expedited delivery will be charged the additional fees.

Material Returns
RMA Required
- 1. Defective Material: will be replaced free of charge if it is reported within a 30 days of receipt of material. All material carries a two year warranty. Replacement material will be shipped ppd & allowed via FedEx/UPS ground, or a common carrier chosen by the shipper any premium freight will be at customers expense
- 2. Material Shipped in Error: will be credited in full once returned material is received and inspected.
- 3. Material ordered incorrectly: A 25% restocking fee will be assessed on any material returned within 30 days of purchase. Returned material must reference the IER Invoice #. If this invoice number cannot be ascertained, Please reference the IER packing slip. Returned material cannot be processed without an invoice number, packing slip # or RMA number. All material must be well packed. IER is not liable for any breakage associated with return shipments.
Damaged Material Claim
- 1. We ship FedEx/UPS on all non-motor freight shipments.
- 2. Any material received in damaged state must first be reported immediately to your FedEx driver Once your office has contacted FedEx/UPS, contact IER so that we can obtain a claim number from our FedEx/UPS representative.
- 3. Damaged material returned with no claim will not be credited.
- 4. For damaged shipments other than FedEx/UPS, IER.
- 5. All packing materials must be retained by receiver for FedEx/UPS review
Concealed Damages & Shortages
Please inspect all packages to ensure that material is in good condition. IER is not responsible for damages discovered after seven days from date of receipt. Shortages & shipping errors must be reported within 2 days from receipt of material.
Order Policies and Terms
- 1. Circuit Breaker Orders shipped FedEx/UPS ground, ppd & allowed.
- 2. Gear and apparatus orders shipped FOB destination unless otherwise specifically negotiated in writing.
- 3. No minimum order, no small order charges.
- 4. All backorders shipped full freight allowed.
- 5. We gladly drop ship blind…Hard fax copy of your packing slip is required for your protection.
- 6. COD charges are billed to the customer.
- 7. We extend Net 30 day terms to approved accounts.
- 8. Invoices older than 30 days are subject to 18% interest per annum.

IER inventory consists of all brands and vintages including manufacture discontinued or “obsolete” items that are no longer available. IER stocks many of these discontinued or “obsolete” items new in the box and in refurbished condition. IER offers the (refurbished) at a substantial discount. Both new in the box and refurbished equipment are covered by a full two year warranty.
Information Collected
All Information collected by IER is for the sole purpose of serving our customers and is kept secured. No information obtained from our customers will be sold or shared with any individuals, companies or entities.
